About
Dr Jakobe graduated from Ohio State Vet School in 2007. Since then, she has worked in many realms of veterinary medicine including emergency medicine, general practice, low-cost surgery and shelter medicine. She has volunteered her time to travel to many countries including parts of Central and South America with World Vets in broadscale spay & neuter efforts to reduce the amount of unwanted/uncared for pets.
Her passion is to provide affordable veterinary care. She is devoted to improving the quality of life of pets and preventing avoidable diseases. Her experience working with World Vets and the Humane Society has only reenforced the importance of early preventative care for pets.
Shelters are at capacity as the influx of unwanted/uncared for pets does not stop. By offering affordable surgical services we can protect our own pets and do our part to control shelter overpopulation.
