At Valley Spay & Neuter, we do our best to make sure we provide you with as much information as possible both on our site and in person. We want to make sure that you know and understand the information about the care your animal is receiving.
Below are some of the most common questions we get. If you haven’t found an answer on our site and can’t find it here, please give us a call or email.
Should I spay or neuter my pet? Why?
Fixing your pet not only helps control the pet population but also helps keep them healthy and can often lead to a longer lifespan due to reduced cancer risk. Read more here…
What time is drop-off?
Please bring your pet to our office between 7 and 8am. No food after 10pm the night before surgery, water is ok. Puppies and kittens less than 6 months of age should have a small snack between 5 and 6am, about a quarter of what you would normally feed them.
What time is pick-up?
You should be able to pick up your pet by 3pm. We will call you if your pet is available earlier than 3pm.
How old should my pet be for surgery?
All pets should be at least 4 months old.
Do you take large dogs?
Yes! We can take your large dog up to 150lbs.
Will you accept flat-face (brachycephalic) dogs?
Yes. However, we do require anti-nausea medication due to higher anesthetic risk in these breeds.
Where are you located?
We are inside the Pet Dental USA clinic at 1981 E Pecos Rd, Gilbert, AZ, 85297
What payment methods do you accept?
We take Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple pay, Google pay and Cash. We do not take CareCredit, Scratchpay, or checks.
